Why Drew?

At any given time in the Portland Metro Area there are +/-8,000 licensed real estate brokers. Of that bunch there are only 1,200 agents doing 10+ transactions annually. A third are doing 5 to 10 and the bottom quadrant is doing less than 5 a year. In short, there are 15% of us who are doing this as a full-time profession in service to our clients and 85% who are dabbling and/or still in the “launch” process. Who would you like to be your guide on the sale of your current home and/or purchase of your new home?

I am one of the agents in the top tier who has been honing this craft since George W. Bush was President, the home addresses were not posted on the public internet and we still had to fax correspondences back and forth. I am not purporting to be a “top producer” with a team of agents under me. I run a simple practice, and my process is set up to do about 25 transactions per year. What does this mean for my clients? In a few words: the buck stops here. I am the primary point of contact for every aspect of your sale and the volume of business that I do is manageable. As such, I am able to give you the amount of attention needed to have an empowering process.

My passions outside of business drive my ambition to be successful in real estate. The Pacific Northwest is a wonderful place to raise a family and engage in some world-class pursuits. My love for the chase of wind, waves and powder (+sometime fish) fuels my desire to be in service to my beloved clients.

Many other agents, who you may be talking to, may have a flashier website, a polished script and a dramatic sales pitch. I’m sure they are good people…it is just a different approach. At our first meeting I’ll show up with just a few things: a pen, a notepad and the ability to ask the right questions + hear your concerns. What I am selling is peace of mind.

In any transaction there are potentially 1,000 things that could go wrong. We will likely need to deal with 3 of them; we just don’t know which 3. Having dealt with just about every problem in the book in my career, my value is being the voice of calm as we work through the speed bumps. You will not hear any panic in my voice because I know the path and I’ll lead us to the successful outcome.
